Featured on the back of the pack is the full 2016 squad.

Despite the trials and tribulations over the past 12 months, the NRL’s youngest club remains overwhelmingly buoyant. Neil Henry’s team, reinforced with a number of exciting recruits – plus the return of popular clubman Nathan Friend – is looking forward to the opportunity of starting afresh in 2016. Key to the team’s prospects is new halfback Ashley Taylor, who arrives from the Brisbane Broncos after taking out the National Under-20s Player of the Year title in 2015. The season-ending knee injury to Kane Elgey in the preseason means Taylor and Newcastle recruit Tyrone Roberts will be responsible of organising the Titans’ attack.

The new halves partnership will receive support from an imposing forward pack, bolstered by newcomers Chris McQueen (South Sydney), David Shillington (Canberra) and Zeb Taia (Catalans Dragons). All three players bring representative experience and will complement the talents of existing Titans forwards such as Greg Bird, Luke Douglas, Agnatius Paasi and Ryan James. The return of foundation Titan, Nathan Friend will ensure strong competition for the hooking role, with Kierran Moseley, Matt Srama and Daniel Mortimer all competent dummy-halves. Out wide there are high hopes that utility back William Zillman will make a seamless comeback from a back complaint, while Josh Hoffman, Anthony Don, David Mead and Nene MacDonald are expected to figure prominently in Henry’s attacking plans. The Titans will start their 2016 campaign with a home clash against the Newcastle Knights while the much-awaited derby clash with the Broncos is set down for Cbus Super Stadium in Round 5.
