Express Post FAQs
What is the Express Post Guarantee?
Delivery is guaranteed within the Express Post networks on the next
business day, provided your item is correctly addressed and lodged (or
collected by Australia Post) by the required time on any business day
Monday to Friday. If we do not deliver as promised, we will provide you
with another Express Post item to the same value or refund you for the
postage charges for our parcels service.
For the guarantee to be valid, all the checklist and lodgement
requirements found on the back of the Express Post envelopes and
satchels must be completed.
What happens if my Express Post item is not delivered next business day?
Please see “What is the Express Post Guarantee?”.
Are other Express Post products available online through the Australia Post Shop?
Currently only C5 and B4 envelopes and 500g and 3kg satchels – all in
packs of 10 – are available for purchase online through the Australia
Post Shop. Other Express Post items including DL window face envelopes,
5kg satchels, Express Post parcel labels and individual envelopes and
satchels are available for purchase from your local Australia Post
retail outlet.
Are items sent by Express Post trackable?
Basic tracking information for Express Post items is available online
via our Track my item tool where
captured. For full tracking capability and signature on delivery, we
recommend you use Express Post Platinum 500g and 3kg satchels or Express
Post Platinum parcel labels. Express Post Platinum products are
available for purchase through Australia Post retail outlets. They are
not currently available for purchase online.
My item is too large or heavy to fit in an Express Post satchel. Can I still send it by Express Post?
Items up to 20kg that are too large or heavy to fit in a satchel can be
sent using Express Post parcel labels. Postage varies by weight and
destination. Labels are available through Australia Post retail outlets.
