About the Designer Awards
The current Australia Post Stamp Design Award is chosen by the members of the Stamp Advisory Committee (SAC) who meet monthly to advise Australia Post on stamp design. At the end of the year we ask each SAC member to vote for the stamp issue that they feel represents the best in design from that year's program. This award was previously known as the Jo Monie Award, which ran from 2000-2006.
